“I recently took an excellent jewelry-making class with Deana. I was excited to walk out wearing my new creations. I especially appreciated learning about new tools, tricks and skills. The class was well-organized with excellent handouts. As a jewelry maker, Deana shares her skill and passion, and as a teacher Deana makes learning new skills fun and easy. My only suggestion is to bring a girlfriend to share the fun!” – Catherine Anne Held, Ph.D. August 2014

“Deana Butler graciously hosted me in her home for a private session in jewelry-making and repair. I had some pieces of jewelry that I had not been able to use because they were missing parts or broken. Two hours later, I had beautifully restored pieces of jewelry that I was able to wear again and enjoy. Deana is both an excellent craftswoman and an excellent teacher. Her instructions were very clear. She had a large supply of materials to choose from and tools for me to use. She was very patient and encouraging in showing me how to do simple techniques myself. I had a great time! I look forward to learning more from Deana some time soon.”  – Donna Sopetto April 2015

“Deana is a woman with a fantastic idea—remake old jewelry into a revitalized, wearable, unique work of art.  This is exactly what Deana did to several pieces of old unused jewelry that I just couldn’t throw away because of sentimental reasons. She took a crystal necklace that my mother gave me when I was 16 going to my first prom and remade it into a modern piece by combining my precious crystals with some pearls that I had and some new blue crystals beads.  Now I have a beautiful necklace that I can wear and also some earrings to match!  I love working with her because she understands my style and aims to create exactly what I’m looking for.  I highly recommend digging down deep into those drawers and giving your old jewelry a new life.” – Marcia Cruz October 2015

Great class! Learned to make five bracelets and a pair of earrings. Each bracelet involved using a different material and technique which provided a good foundation for creating all types of jewelry. Deana gives clear instructions and great handouts to make learning easy. I highly recommend this class.  Lyde Fowler  October 2015
